Start and plan your course

Course structure and route planner

Before you really get started, we'll give you an overview of the online part of the course. The course consists of six chapters and a final chord:

  • A bird's-eye view;
  • Planning phase;
  • Research phase;
  • Harvest phase;
  • Data and legislation;
  • Data Support;
  • Closing remarks.

In the sitemap you can view all chapters and underlying paragraphs.

Each chapter starts with a brief overview of the sections which are included and lists the learning objectives we are working on in that chapter. Most assignments and all quiz questions are only visible and open to students enrolling in the entire course.

What happens after logging in?

When you are logged in, the red/blue bar below the sections shows you how your study progresses. Red indicates what % of the paragraphs you still have left; blue indicates what % of the paragraphs you have opened. The student below is therefore at 98% of the course.

After reading a paragraph, you can click on the arrows at the bottom of the page to go to the next section. At the bottom of this paragraph, for example, you can use the arrow to the right to click directly to the first chapter of this course: A bird's-eye view.

Of course, you can also read through the paragraphs in any order of your choice. Maybe you are interested in a number of specific parts and you want to read them first, following the prior knowledge and the personal learning goals you have. If you have opened a paragraph, it will be marked with a tick.
